08:00 – 09:30 | Journey to My Tho
Leave the hustle and bustle of Hồ Chí Minh City behind and embark on a scenic 1.5-hour journey to the charming town of Mỹ Tho, with a stop along the way for toilet and refreshment.
09:30 – 10:00 | Cruise the Mekong River
Upon arrival, step aboard a motorboat and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Mekong River as we cruise along its picturesque canals and waterways, taking in stunning views of the legendary Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islands.
10:00 – 11:00 | Ben Tre Village & Traditional Workshops
As we cross the river to the Bến Tre Village, we will make a stop at a traditional workshop where you can witness the step-by-step processing of making coconut candy, honey farming, and more, while indulging in some delicious samples and enjoying the sounds of traditional music.
11:00 – 11:30 | Sampan Ride & Xe Loi Exploration
Experience the charm of local life by taking a peaceful sampan ride along the shady, breezy canal, rowed by friendly locals. Afterwards, hop on a Xe Loi – a type of local transportation – to explore the villages.
11:30 – 12:30 | Vietnamese 5-Course Lunch
Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese 5-course set menu for lunch at a riverside restaurant. Please inform us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
12:30 – 13:00 | Delta Garden & Village Cycling
After that, take some time to unwind and soak up the serene ambience of a typical Mekong Delta garden, or explore the charming village on a leisurely bicycle ride.
13:00 – 13:30 | Scenic Water Coconut Boat Trip
Embark on a scenic boat trip through the picturesque canals shaded by water coconut trees, as we make our way back to the Mỹ Tho pier.
13:30 – 15:00 | Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda
Board the bus and head to Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, one of the most outstanding pagodas in the Mekong Delta. Visit the enchanting Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, a unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian architectural styles. Home to many intricate Buddhist statues and carvings, it is a must-visit destination for cultural and religious heritage.
15:00 – 17:00 | Return to Ho Chi Minh City
Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing 1.5-hour transfer back to Hồ Chí Minh City, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of your day in the Mekong Delta. We will drop you back at the pick-up point or somewhere in the city centre at your request.
